Hm. Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I've been listening to Ra Ra Riot lately. I'm a sucker for anything with violin or cello in it, and they've got both.
I suggest Bing Crosby and Burl Ives Christmas music :) And maybe a little "Please Daddy Don't Get Drunk This Christmas"
