Congrats to oilman T. Boone Pickens for a successful launch of his new wind energy plan to reduce the U.S.'s dependency on oil. What an amazing and humble man to realize that we need a new alternative to oil - his baby.

Who is T Boon Pickens why havnt I heard of him ? I have always been leary of the super rich. T. Boon Pickens. I dont know, Ive read a little about his plan but I dont know enough about energy to make a good judgement. I wonder what every one else thinks about his plan. At first glance, I agree with Carl Pope, executive director of the Sierra Club, when he says, "Mr. Pickens and I probably don't see eye-to-eye on some other matters, but he's right on this one."
